Today, ERFD Engine 3 provided mutual aid assistance to Lyndhurst FD for a residential structure fire.

The fire was traveling fast throughout the kitchen and dining area but was quickly knocked down by our firefighters.

Great job to our chief and the other members of the ERPD!

This afternoon the ERFD responded to the NJ Turnpike for a fully involved car fire.

Today the ERFD put on a demonstration for children of Becton Regional HS teachers for the annual Take your child to work day.

Members assisted with an interior attack and performed roof ventilation.

Today, members of the Fire Department and Police Department escorted the East Rutherford Little League baseball players, coaches and parents to Riggins Field for opening day.

Members of ER EMS along with ERPD delivered a healthy baby girl today. Way to go EREMS and ERPD!

First arriving chief, Assistant Chief Felten arrived on scene and reported a working fire. Because of a quick response by the members of our department, the fire was quickly brought under control.
