On March 12 just after 2200hrs ERFD was dispatched to the area of Murray Hill Parkway and Madison Circle Drive for a report of a brush fire. Responding units located a large area of brush burning and was quickly spreading due to the high winds. A second alarm was transmitted bringing in mutual aid engines from Wallington, Carlstadt, Rutherford, and Passaic. A ladder truck from Rutherford and an engine from Wood-Ridge provided station coverage at the Herman Street Firehouse.
